Great atmosphere and excellent participation of fishermen as 35 teams registered for the 68th Puerto Vallarta International Marlin and Tuna Fishing Tournament, organized by the Puerto Vallarta Fishing Club.
Mariachi Nuevo Continental was present and delighted those present with the best of their repertoire.
During the afternoon night of this Wednesday, November 13, at the Puerto Vallarta Fishing Club facilities, the registrations of the participating teams were carried out, some of which are regulars. to the tournament:

Everyone will set sail in search of the largest specimen of the participating species:
Marlin, Tuna and Dorado at 7:00 am in front of the Rosita Hotel this November 14. The weigh-in will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the Marina Vallarta boardwalk next to the Marina del Rey condominium.

Opening
The start of the 68th Puerto Vallarta International Marlin and Tuna Fishing Tournament was a great success.
35 teams registered and at exactly 7:00 am they set sail from the Hotel Rosita boardwalk in search of the largest specimen of the participating species: Marlin, Tuna and Dorado.
Honors were paid to the Flag accompanied by the War Band and Escort of the Twelfth Naval Zone of the Secretary of the Navy.
The inauguration was carried out by Misael López Muro representing the Municipal President Arq. Luis Ernesto Munguía Gonzálezwho wished the participants success.
Distinguished members of the Fishing Club led by David Zaragoza Camacho and Saúl Barajas Contreras were present. The reception of the fishing will be on the Malecón de la Marina next to the Marina del Rey Condominiums from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., on the three days of fishing.
Day 1
Tuna dominated the gallows. The first day of fishing for the 1+1 team in the 68th Puerto Vallarta International Marlin and Tuna Fishing Tournament was excellent, organized by the Puerto Vallarta Fishing Club. Day 2
The Marlin stung... On the second day of fishing of the 68 Puerto Vallarta International Marlin and Tuna Fishing Tournament, the weighing had just opened, the arrival of a Marlin weighing 200,200 kg of the El Mexicano Sea Hunter team on the Sea Hunter boat that placed them in first place in the tournament, hours later two Marlín's arrived plus one of 113,600 kg. from the Oscar's team and one more from the The Golden Hook team weighing 135,200 kg.< /p>
The Dorado category still has no catches until the second day of fishing.
In the Tuna category the Kokomo team presented a catch of 45,400 kg that places it in fourth place, where the leader of the category remains the < strong>1+1 team with a 84,400 kg specimen.
The Puerto Vallarta Fishing Club A.C. extends the invitation to the closing of the Tournament, the weigh-in begins at 2:00 in the afternoon and closes at 6:00 pm, immediately after The first places in the different categories are awarded.

Day 3
Exciting closing of the fishing tournament. The last day of fishing of the 68 Puerto Vallarta International Marlin and Tuna Fishing Tournament was lived with great expectation. The Joyas Fishing World team presented a Marlin weighing 118,400 Kg that placed it in third place in the category.
Moments later a tuna weighing 57,000 kg arrived from the Transhack team.
Almost at the close of the tournament the Rancho Relaxo team presented the only Dorado of the competition with a weight of 11,600 kg becoming the winner of the category. p>

Special recognition was also given to the Madtown Angler's team for their support with their constant attendance at the fishing tournament.
- In the Tuna category the winner was team 1+1 with a specimen weighing 84,400 kg.
- In the Golden category the Rancho Relaxo team weighed 11,600 kg. and only capture.
- In the main category of the tournament: Marlín, the El Mexicano Sea Hunter team was the winner with a specimen weighing 200,200 kg, simultaneously obtaining the Zaragoza Marine award as the best team of the tournament.
